Norm Baldwin has been serving Middle Tennessee in the business of home improvement for over 30 years. He started in paint and wallcovering as a certified coatings consultant and expanded into flooring in 2003. Whole house transformations became his specialty and Norm decided to venture out on his own and started Baldwin Family Flooring. “What I enjoy most about my job is seeing the home transformations and building relationships with people. Seeing clients’ faces light up when they love their new space is so rewarding. The only way these transformations happen is with the teams of installers that I work with. Those people are the backbone of my business and I truly love them like family,” he says. Providing excellent customer service, product and service education, complete and transparent communication, and building friendships that last a lifetime are the cornerstones of Baldwin Family Flooring. They are a full-service flooring company and provide a full line of carpet, hardwood, tile, laminate, LVT/LVP, and the installation of those products. They also offer wallpaper from York, Thibaut, Wallquest, Schumacher, Seabrook, and Phillip Jeffries, as well as Graber window treatments. Being proud of the materials they offer and the craftsmanship they provide is of most importance to Norm and his team. Norm has been married to his wife, Amanda, for almost 20 years. Amanda is currently finishing her degree to become a Nurse Practitioner and has multiple degrees including a masters. They share three children, Anna (18), Mary Lauryn (13), and James (11). “Anna is a freshman at Columbia State CC in Franklin and is very much into 70's & 80's big hair bands. She has enshrined herself in her bedroom to everything rock n roll. Mary Lauryn is a 7th grader at Page Middle school and is very socially involved with her friends and plays softball and volleyball in school and on club teams,” Norm shares. “James, or J.R., is our youngest and is a 5th grader at College Grove Elementary. He loves fishing, baseball, basketball, and football. He's looking forward to being in middle school and playing sports with all his friends from Trinity and College Grove.” The name Baldwin Family Flooring is so befitting of Norm’s business. He’s a proud husband and father, he treats his installers as though they are family, and he strives to build lasting relationships with the families he serves.
